Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Synergy DTC, Inc. (“Synergy,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website, request a demo, apply to our network, or use the Synergy platform. By using our services you agree to this Policy.

Synergy provides software and logistics coordination for the licensed cannabis industry. When you shop on a brand’s white-label storefront, the independently licensed hub that fulfills your order and collects payment is a separate party responsible for its own handling of certain information.

Information we collect

Information you provide. Your name, email, phone, company/brand, website, and any details you submit through our contact, demo, hub, or partner forms, or when you create an account or contact support.

Verification information (platform). To comply with cannabis regulations, the platform processes age- and identity-verification data — date of birth, government-issued ID, and, where applicable, medical-cannabis card details — along with delivery addresses and order information. This information may be provided by customers of the brands we serve.

Payment. We do not process consumer payment for cannabis orders — the licensed hub collects payment on delivery. For our own subscription billing, payment is handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.

Information collected automatically. Device and usage data, IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, via cookies and similar technologies.

How we use information

  • Provide, operate, and improve the services, and route orders to the appropriate licensed hub;
  • Verify age and eligibility and support regulatory compliance (including cannabis track-and-trace such as METRC);
  • Communicate with you — respond to inquiries and send transactional messages such as sign-in links, verification codes, and order updates;
  • Process subscription billing and settle payouts;
  • Secure the services, prevent abuse, and comply with law.

How we share information

Licensed hubs. To fulfill and deliver orders and collect payment, we share the order and customer information necessary with the licensed hub serving the delivery area.

Brands. A brand whose storefront you use receives the order and customer information related to its own sales.

Service providers. We use vendors to run the platform under contract, including hosting and infrastructure, database, authentication, transactional email and SMS, maps and geocoding, identity/OCR and AI processing, and bot protection. They process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Compliance and legal. We share information as required to comply with cannabis track-and-trace and other applicable law, or in response to lawful requests.

Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and local storage for essential functionality (sessions, cart, age-gate) and for analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work without them.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the services and to meet legal and regulatory obligations — cannabis recordkeeping can require multi-year retention — to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live — including California residents under the CCPA/CPRA — you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights. You can opt out of marketing email via the unsubscribe link in any message.

Age restriction

Our services are intended only for adults 21 years of age or older (or qualified medical patients where lawful). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under these limits, and cannabis products are never sold to minors.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
